Our thickest Industrial tile, the Ecotile 10mm has been synonimous as the go-to solution for ultra tough working environments. Anywhere excessive forces are at work, our 10mm ultra heavy duty floor tiles are designed for incredible strength and performance. Articulated vehicles, aircraft and 3-wheeled forklifts turning with heavy loads are all matched by the Ecotile 10mm. It’s the ultimate flooring solution.
And now it's had a design upgrade! New for 2024, we're delighted to launch the Ecotile X500/10. This product now replaces the E500/10, which is no longer in production. Same tough properties, new X-Joint connection. They're now available in Dark Grey, Graphite and Black, all with an R10 slip rating textured surface finish. Not to mention the Bfl-S1 certification for fire retardancy.
Why change?
Originally created to enhance performance of our ESD range, the X-Joint connection is our tightest yet. We've since engineered our most popular 7mm industrial floor tile in an X500 version too. As we transition to the new joint tile over a period of time, it's now the turn of the 10mm ultra interlocking tile for a production update.
Reduced production times are also achieved using our new X500/10mm manufacturing tool, meaning costs are kept to a minimum for this new product. So thanks to these production efficiencies, we're able to produce them faster to meet your clients deadlines too.
We're no longer making E500/10 tiles, and as the new X500/10 tiles obviously don't interlock with the older tiles, we recommend using a butt joint where existing customer areas require extensions. Simply cutting off the interlocking lugs during installation, and using adhesive for 2 rows of existing E500/10 tiles, as well as adhering the 2 adjacent rows of the new X500/10 tiles, will prodvide a suitably strong and robust transition.

So when you're quoting for 10mm projects, remember to quote X500/10 going forward.
All Ecotile floor tiles, including our new X500/10, are produced in our Bedfordshire manufacturing facility, by us. So you can be sure we will deliver your flooring when you need it. On time, and on budget.
